As a teacher, I offer personalized attention to meet each student at their current level of comfort and technical skills.
In addition to my independent studio, I am on the faculty at the RI Philharmonic Music School and have given lessons through RIOT RI. My oboe students have performed in RI Philharmonic Youth Ensembles and the Boston Symphony Youth Orchestras, and have placed as high as 1st chair in the RI All-State Festivals at both Junior and Senior levels.

With students on all instruments, I strive to balance fun and good humor with high expectations and appropriate attention to detail, to help each student attain their own goals of self expression, musical inspiration, and mastery.
