From the Facebook event description:
… a tribute to two giants of the Jazz Age, George Gerswhin and Paul Whiteman, a collaboration which created some of the most iconic and memorable music of the 1920s and 30s.
The New England Yankees, featuring virtuoso Matt Savage on the piano, and augmented by strings, brass and percussion, will take you on a musical journey through the Jazz Age featuring works by Jerome Kern, Ferde Grofe, George Gerswhin and more. Transport yourself back in time to when Paul Whiteman was the 'King of Jazz', George Gerswhin was at the top of the charts and a young singer named Bing Crosby was just getting his start in the Whiteman Orchestra as one of the Rhythm Boys.
